Martin Saxon is a ceramicist based in Italy who studied ceramics at Surrey and practised and taught in South London for three years. Whilst working in the food industry his love for food and ceramics culminated in the creation of tableware with the presentation of food in mind.

 

Martin creates earthenware in summer and stoneware in winter, as the latter requires a higher firing temperature. The finishes, colours and qualities reflect the seasonal colours in Italy.
